Upon recommendation of the FedEx delivery man
So Alan LOVES egg nog. The one in the green box (aka Meadow Gold). Apparently he and the FedEx delivery man were discussing their mutual love of egg nog and a new superior egg nog was suggested. We found some at the store, and had a taste test.
We decided it was not a fair taste test because the Meadow Gold was plain egg nog, and the Southern Comfort was vanilla spice. However, I did really enjoy the Southern Comfort. It is not as thick as the Meadow Gold and so you can drink it straight. The spice flavor is really good too. Until we do a a straight egg nog flavor comparison, however, it is not concluded which one is actually better.

Dave loves it too! Me--not so much unless it is really mixed well with milk. I will have to try that brand
